Products and Solutions

These are the main types of website that we build for our clients:

Wordpress Content Management System

We specialise in building dynamic websites based on the Wordpress Content Management System. Wordpress developed from a blogging platform and is now a very powerful website management tool. These types of website run off a database, which makes managing content much easier. The greatest benefit for the client, is that site content can be updated and new content written by accessing the Wordpress control panel using any internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari etc.). Examples of sites we have built on Wordpress include Webologist and MotleyHealth (UK).

Drupal Community Sites

We also build more complex sites using the Drupal content management system, which not only allows owners to update their own content via the internet, but also allows other people to participate in building the site, either by invitation only, or by requesting permission from the site owner. Every user can have their own blog, join discussion forums, share stories and comment on articles. User/member profile pages are catered for. These site also allows for members only sections, so is ideal if you wish part of a website to be open to the public, and other parts to be for employees/members only. MorrowTech.co.uk is build on Drupal and 5 Elements Martial Arts uses this product to manage their club and update members with latest news and events.

About Us

My name is Jon Wade, and I have been building websites since 2006. I focus on providing fast and effective websites to smaller businesses in and around Chelmsford, Essex. In addition to web design, I am also arrange web hosting, domain registration, and have good working knowledge of Search Engine marketing and optimisation techniques, which I always employ in my web design. Web design and web hosting costs have fallen considerably over the last 10 years, and technologies have leapt forward, however many web designers still charge vast amounts for poorly constructed sites. I keep marketing costs to a minimum, and aim to get sites up and running within 3 days of work commencing, with completion within a week. Converting existing sites to a dynamic content management system takes longer. Training can be provided. Most basic sites can be built in a day, and these are perfectly good for the average business. Good written content and some striking photos are generally enough to make a small business website effective. View the portfolio.
